Emma Wright - Gilboa-Conesville Central High School - attending Morrisville State University in the fall with a major in medical office administration and future plans to enter nursing school.
Joanna Sydow - Sharon Spring Central High School - attending State University of New York - Geneseo with a major in economics and business.
Coryn Martin - Middleburgh Central High School - attending Hudson Valley Community College.
Each will receive a $100 award for their winning essays on the pros and cons of growing up in rural Schoharie County. This year's essays were terrific! We wish you all the best in your college years!

Erika Ullstrom - homeschooled
Erika has been home-schooled and is graduating with an outstanding academic, service, and involvement record. She will be attending Davis College in the fall working toward her Bachelor degree in Religious Education. She is entering this in the four plus one program with her fifth year to be completed at Pennsylvania Biblical University where she will pursue her MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching). Congratulations, Erika.
CONGRATULATIONS to Douglas Ullman, graduating "Inspiring Senior Award" winner for 2010 from Sharon Spring High School. Douglas has great ideas for helping the youth and young adults of Schoharie County. We look forward to working with him and incorporating his ideas into programs that will "inspire others to aspire to great things" here in rural upstate New York.
